A
problem
was
discovered
loading
MCO
data
for
June.
It
seems
line
number
264
has
12
different
pairings
assigned.
Although
The
Bid
Meister!
has
the
ability
to
handle
up
to
20
different
pairings
on
a
line,
the
Line
Display
can
only
display
up
to
10
different
pairing
summaries
on
its
display.
This
was
causing
a
bid
line
data
loading
error.
The
Line
Display
will
still
only
display
10
different
pairing
summaries,
all
extra
pairings
are
ignored.
To
see
check-in
or
arrival
times
on
the
extra
pairings,
simply
double-click
on
them
to
pop-up
the
detailed
display.
PLEASE
NOTE!
-
It
was
originally
intended
to
release
this
version
of
The
Bid
Meister!
next
month
to
coincide
with
the
company
moving
its
Crew
Web
Access
server
to
the
SWALife
server
with
all
the
other
company
access
sites.
However,
as
noted
above,
an
error
discovered
loading
the
MCO
data
for
June
has
prompted
an
early
release.
A
new
update
will
be
forthcoming
next
month
that
will
update
the
Internet
communication
section
with
the
new
CWA
server
location.
Here's a brief on changes made to the program:

A
simplified
current
line
display
was
added
to
the
Main
Menu
display
for
convenience.
You
still
need
to
bring
up
the
Current
Line
Display
to
make
changes
or
add
training,
vacation,
etc.
This
feature
can
be
turned
off
by
using
the
Program
Preferences
under
the
Options
menu.
Several
small
changes
were
made
in
dialog
boxes
for
convenience.

Tuesday, June 6, 2006 - Quick Fix
Depending on how long you have had your current Bid Meister! installation on your computer, you may have notice that after loading July data and restarting the program, the program will show June data. This fix will eliminate this problem.
For this revision:
First, the subscription system will not be implemented as was announced a few months ago, however, it is still in the works at this time.
The company still hasn't switched the URL for downloading & uploading bid files. This isn't a big problem, but we will stay on top of this if and when they do.
Here's a brief on changes made to the program:

Fixed error in calculating total trip pay on pairings.
Fixed error on system setup when a dollar sign was entered for pay or per diem
Fixed several minor problems on the Current Line Display.
File transfer program modified to prevent transfer errors if BM web site is down.
Fixed a problem where the file transfer program would sometimes "hang" when exiting. New component was issued by the vendor.
Web site address www.BidMeister.biz changed to www.TheBidMeister.com
